Pending CH Acorn Ridge TM Elsa
Acorn Ridge TM Elsa and Lineared VEEE 91 as a 3 yr old. Her last lactation finished with 2515 lbs of milk 95 lbs fat and 85 lbs protein. Elsa has been proven to transmit her excellent udder to her offspring with 1 daughter fresh and a 2nd springing.
As a 4 year old I let Elsa get a little thick, but she did have an improved lactation with 2806 lbs of milk in 288 days 4.1% BFand 3.4% protein. She lineared EGEV 88, getting knocked for the excess weight. At the Wi State Fair she was 1st/1st udder 4 yr old.
Pinot is not just a beautiful doe who lineared VEVE 89 as a first freshening 2 yr old. She followed that up completing her first lactation with 4110 lbs milk, 129 lbs fat, and 111 lbs protein. Making her the top 10 breed leader for 2023 in all 3 production categories.
Like fine wine Pinot keeps improving with age. As a 3 yr old after freshening with triplets she lineared VEVE 91. While producing 5032 lbs of milk at 291 DIM 146 lb BF 132 lbs protein.
Acorn Ridge Hotwired Mystery is a power house in the milk stand. She finished her 2023 lactation with 3405 lbs milk, 138 lbs fat, and 104 lbs protein. She lineared as a 2 yr old VVVV 88. Mystery made the 2023 top 10 production breed leader list #4 in Milk, #2 in BF, and #6 in protein.
As a 3 yr old Mystery has started to come into here own. She was the 1st/1st udder 3 yr old at the Wi State Fair. and improved her linear score to VEVE 90. While milking 3764 lbs of milk at 292 DIM 153 lbs BF and 119 lbs protein.
Adriana is the first daughter to freshen out of Champion Pending Acorn Ridge TM Elsa, and she did not disappoint. Freshening with her dams beautiful mammary, and improving on her dairy strength with a longer smoother neck, and better angulation to the rear leg set. She lineared GGGV 84 as a yearling. She milked 1654 lbs milk, 63 lbs fat, and 53 lbs protein in 255 days.
As a 2 yr old Adriana is still maturing but is definitely worth waiting on. She lineared EVEV 89, and milked 1772 lbs of milk at 266 DIM 4.1% BF and 3.3% protein.
Pheme is a special doe that I brought back into the herd at just an hour old. Her dam was sold when we sold out the commercial herd with the option of a doe kid back. I jumped at the opportunity when I received the call that she was born. As a yearling she had a tough kidding but recovered to linear GAVV 82. She milked 1479 lbs milk, 58 lbs fat, and 47 lbs protein in 274 days.
As a 2 yr old Pheme had rough kidding suffering from Ketosis the last few weeks of her pregnancy. She recovered after delivering healthy triplet bucks. I see enough promise in this young doe that I am retained1 of her 2024 buck kids as a junior herdsire. She lineared EVEV 89, and milked 2432 lbs of milk in 290 DIM 3.5% bf and 3.0% protein.
When the opportunity arose in 2022 to bring this fancy young doe east Jason jumped at the opportunity. Knowing the line is slow to mature she was left a dry yearling in 2023. She is breed to freshen and is developing a mammary that promises not to disappoint.
In 2024 Prinity freshened with some hardness issues on the left side of her mammary which base on udder texture appears to be resolved but left her slightly uneven. We are hopeful that with dry treatment she will even out as a 3 yr old. As a first freshener Prinity lineared VVVV 87 and milked 1751 lbs of milk in 279 DIM 2.9%bf and 3.0% protein.
Shelby is an exciting young doe that is definitely proving to be like fine wine, as she has progressively become a better and better as she matured through her first lactation. She lineared GVGE 87 as milking yearling, while milking 2575 lbs milk in 258 DIM 2.7% bf and 2.6% protein. As she came into the fall she started to show maturity and we can't wait to see her as a 2 year old.
Cabernet is 1 of Pinot's 2024 triplets that Jason immediately said she's the keeper, when she was born. She is a balanced young doe with plenty of width throughout. We are excited to see her fresh how she falls in her top 10 breed leader dam's foot steps.
Sife is a triplet daughter of Mystery. She has a nice strong correct wide muzzle that carries all the back to her rump. She has a beautiful uphill top line, with open flat ribbing, and increasing depth into the rear barrel. She also has the correct set to her feet and legs with the wide open escutcheon that her sire Venom is consistently putting on his kids.
She was only shown in 2 rings as a jr doe.
Wi State fair she was 5th of 19 Sr kids.
Bluff Country Show she was 1st place Sr Kid, Champion and then went on to be name Best Jr Doe in Show.
